iSoftStone Attends the BT Executive CIO Forum

The BT Executive CIO Forum, a part of the 7th Annual Forum on Urban Digitilization in the Asia-Pacific Region was held on May 27, 2008 in Shanghai, China. TW Liu, Chairman and CEO of iSoftStone, was invited to attend the forum.

Together with JP Rangaswami, Managing Director of BT Design, Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Chairman of NASSCOM India, and Laxman Badiga, CIO of Wipro, TW Liu attended the panel discussion on the Globalization of Outsourced IT Skills. TW pointed out that in today's marketplace, only-possessing technical skills and expertise is not enough to succeed. "Soft skills" plays a large role in the success of a company. "Soft skills" includes teamwork spirit, business behavior, communication skills and cross-culture management capabilities, etc.

As a part of the wider 7th high-level summit of Urban Digitilization in Asia-Pacific, BT Executive CIO Forum invited CIOs from various Multi-National Companies (MNCs), IT Organizations and university professors together to discuss CIO 2.0 and the Globalization of Outsourced IT Skills.
