A large mobile device manufacturer in China wanted to enhance its handset offerings by adding high-quality video capabilities. They needed a customized application specifically designed to support new functions, such as content sharing, content storage, and contact awareness.

To meet the challenge of supporting these features, the company selected iSoftStone to design and develop the new video phone client. After detailing potential scenarios for use of the software on a handset, iSoftStone created a customized video application to meet the need.

The completed phone client software supports contact awareness, contact profiling, user-to-user (sharing), user-to-server (storage), and server-to-user (content push). The iSoftStone application added streaming media capabilities, which were previously unavailable to customers, and 3G compatibility for rapid customer adoption.
