Tianwen (TW) Liu
Chairman & CEO

Mr. Tianwen (TW) Liu is the founder, Chairman and CEO of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., a rapidly growing China-based provider of IT consulting and outsourcing, and business process outsourcing to clients both domestically and worldwide. Founded in 2001, iSoftStone has been named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China for four consecutive years since 2006, and was listed as one of China’s Top 10 Leading Service Providers 2009 by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. Mr. Liu has over 20 years experience in technical and management roles in the IT industry.

Prior to iSoftStone, Mr. Liu co-founded AsiaEC.com in 1999 and led efforts to build the company from the ground up and grow it to become China's largest on-line office supply and services provider. During its growth, AsiaEC.com successfully raised private capital to fund its growth plan and in 2006 was acquired by Office Depot.

Prior to AsiaEC.com, Mr. Liu served in multinational companies such as Bechtel and Siemens, gaining extensive experience in both information technology and international management. In recent years, he has been committed to promoting the development of China's IT outsourcing industry and the globalization of Chinese enterprises. As deputy director of the expert committee for “China’s Outsourcing” magazine, Mr. Liu won the “Award of Leadership of China Service Outsourcing Industry Development” in 2009, and received the honor of "Outstanding Entrepreneur” by Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park.

Mr. Liu is a Sloan Fellow and holds an MBA degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Michael Wu
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Michael Wu is the CFO of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He has extensive experience in managing corporate finance, operation and establishing internal control in global companies.

Before joining iSoftStone, Mr. Wu was VP of Finance of HuaWei Technologies, responsible for corporate investment, treasury and taxation, planning and reporting, and worldwide financial operations.  

Prior to HuaWei Technologies, Mr. Wu served as the CFO of Lucent Technologies China for 9 years, covering mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Mr. Wu was responsible for managing finance, accounting, contract management and information system. During that period, Mr. Wu had successfully led Lucent China ERP implementation in 2001 and the establishment of shared service center China.

From 1991 through 1997, Mr. Wu held various financial management positions with SAP and Unilever.

Mr. Wu is an accounting graduate from the University of International Business and Economics and holds a MBA degree from the City University, Seattle.

Edward Yang
President of iSoftStone Inc., Chairman of North America & Europe Business Group

Mr. Edward Yang is the President of iSoftStone Inc. and the Chairman of iSoftStone North America & Europe Business Group. Edward Yang has extensive management capabilities, strong understanding of the client outsourcing value proposition, and experience in cross-border management of China-based business.

Before joining iSoftStone, Edward Yang was formerly the Chairman of the Cross Shore Acquisition Corporation, a public company listed under London AIM. He was the Co-founder of the company that raised US $112 Million in April 2006, to support the acquisition of a leading US-based provider of clinical outsourcing services, and led its strategic expansion into Asia.

From 1992 to 2000, Mr. Yang was Corporate Senior Vice President for Electronic Data Systems (“EDS”), responsible for its operations spanning the entire Asia-Pacific region. During his 8+ years with EDS, Mr. Yang brought outsourcing to the Asia-Pacific region and led the Company’s regional expansion from $100 million to more than $1.2 billion, with more than $4 billion in contracted revenue backlog.

Prior to joining EDS, Mr. Yang was Corporate Senior VP for Wang Laboratories, responsible for the Asia Pacific and Americas region, during which time he brought offshore R&D and manufacturing to Asia and established the Company’s first Mainland China Joint Venture partnership in Shanghai in 1980.

Born in China, brought up in Myanmar and educated in Taiwan and US, Mr. Yang earned his B.Sc. degree from National Taiwan University (1969), M.S. degree from University of Massachusetts ( Lowell 1976 ) and his Presidential Executive MBA degree from Pepperdine University ( 1988 ). In 1997, he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Pepperdine University.

Juro Nakauchi
Chairman of Japan & Korea Business Group

Juro Nakauchi is the Chairman of iSoftStone Japan & Korea Business Group. Mr. Nakauchi has extensive experience in business development, operations management and financial planning.

Mr. Nakauchi worked more than 35 years for IBM Japan, including eight years as its chief financial officer. As a core member of the management team at IBM Japan, Mr. Nakauchi made significant contributions to IBM's Japan franchise and long-term success. During August 2008, Mr. Nakauchi was appointed to the corporate advisory board of iSoftStone, to help facilitate the continued growth of iSoftStone's business in Japan.

In addition to his work with IBM, Mr. Nakauchi has served as a special advisor to Silver Lake, a global private equity firm focusing on technology investments since 2006. He has also served as an independent board member of two publicly traded companies in Japan.

Bo Li
Executive Vice President, Chief of Staff

Dr. Bo Li is an Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd.

Dr. Li has rich experiences in Transformational Strategy, IT planning, Business Process and Performance Consulting, ERP PMO, and Key Account Management. Prior to iSoftStone, Mr. Li held senior management positions in well-known companies including Roland Berger, Lang-Chao GenSoft and Capgemini. Before that, Dr. Li founded Bexcel, and built it to be one of the most successful local management consulting brand in China.

Dr. Li holds a PhD and a MS from Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, Germany.

Frank Feng
Executive Vice President, Head of Japan and Korea Business Group and BPO Business

Mr. Frank Feng is an Executive Vice President of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He is the head of the Japan and Korea Business Group and BPO Business.

Mr. Feng excels at business management, project operation as well as financial control. He has extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management and its system architecture design. Mr. Feng has also led a number of M&A transactions, which has contributed the fast growth of iSoftStone.

Mr. Feng was the founder of United Innovation Ltd. Prior to that, Feng worked for Mitsui & Co. (China) Ltd. and General Motors, and he participated in designing the first B2B exchanging platform in the world for Fortune 500 enterprises.

Mr. Feng graduated from Duke University with MBA degree and holds the Bachelor degree of Beijing University.

Ying Huang
Executive Vice President, Head of T&T Business Group

Dr. Huang is an Executive Vice President of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He is the Head of Telecom & Technology (T&T) Business Group.

Dr. Huang co-founded United Innovation Ltd. in 2002 and built the company to be one of the well-known IT service providers in China. United Innovation Ltd. has successfully merged with iSoftStone in 2005.

Prior to iSoftStone and United Innovation, Dr. Huang worked for Lucent, AT&T Labs and Air Force Institute of Technology. He has more than ten years of working experiences in USA Telecom Industry and High Tech R&D.

Dr. Huang holds Ph.D. from Rutgers University, and B.S. from Tsinghua University.

John Peng
Executive Vice President, Head of GADS Business Group

Mr. John Peng is an Executive Vice President of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He is the Head of Global Application Development Services (GADS) Business Group. Mr. Peng is a seasoned executive with over 18 years of experience in IT services, offshore outsourcing management, and business development.

Before joining iSoftStone, Mr. Peng was the VP of China Technology Delivery of E5 Systems Inc., one of the first US IT consulting and services firms with an offshore outsourcing center in China. He started and managed its China Development Center and project delivery to many US customers.

Prior to E5 Systems, Mr. Peng held several senior management positions as Engineering VP, or Director of Software Development in several software development companies in the US, where he led the product development and maintenance. John also worked in some major financial service companies such as John Hancock Funds and Mellon Financial Corp as senior system and business analysts.

John holds a MBA from The University of Rhode Island, MS from the Institute of Science and Technology, and BS. in Mechanical Engineering from the Beijing University of Technology.

Seth Pinegar
Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Development

Seth Pinegar is a Senior Vice President and the Head of Corporate Development for iSoftStone. He is responsible for leadership of the Company's activities in strategic business development, corporate marketing & communications, mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. He is a senior member of iSoftStone’s global clients business development team and also represents the Company in its dealings with the industry and investment analyst communities.

Prior to joining iSoftStone, Seth was an investment banker for nine years, most recently at UBS Investment Bank, based in New York and Tokyo, where he led the firm's technology outsourcing sector practice in China, Mexico and Brazil. He also worked on transactions involving well-known India-based outsourcing companies. Seth was also with JPMorgan's technology investment banking group, based initially in San Francisco and later in Hong Kong. His extensive transaction experience includes debt and equity capital raisings (both public and private), mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations and corporate finance advisory.

Seth received a BA from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, USA and has studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Language & Culture University.

Carson Che
Executive Vice President, Head of Greater China Business Group

Mr. Carson Che is an Executive Vice President of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He is the head of Greater China Business Group.

Mr. Carson Che is well-experienced on sales management, project management and business consulting. He has conducted many large-scale projects, from business consulting, software development, to system implementation. He formerly worked for Deloitte and Kehai Group.

Mr. Carson Che graduated from Peking University with an MBA degree. He also holds a Bachelor degree in both Precision Instrument and Management Science from Tianjin University.

Steve Kang
Senior Vice President

Mr. Kang is a Senior Vice President of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He is responsible for sales management of Greater China Business Group.  

Mr.Kang has extensive experience in multinational company in developing and managing business.  Prior to joining iSoftStone, Mr. Kang was a Sales Executive for IBM Asia Pacific, responsible for IBM middleware software business across Asia. Before then,, Mr. Kang was responsible IBM Software Channel and Partner Development in Asia Pacific. He has served IBM for more than 25 years and possesses extensive experience in various management positions of sales, channel, marketing, product management and new business development for both hardware and software businesses. In addition, he also had working experience in application and service business before joining IBM.

Mr. Kang graduated with MBA and BS degrees from National Jiao Tung University of Taiwan.

Xiaohui Zhu
Senior Vice President

Mr. Xiaohui Zhu is a Senior Vice President of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. He is responsible for the business development and sales management of strategic accounts.

Mr. Zhu has over 20 years of experience in large-scale domestic and multinational companies across many fields, including operational management, sales & marketing and R&D, which endows him with the penetrating insight of opportunities in China’s IT and telecom industry.

Prior to iSoftStone, Mr. Zhu served in multinational companies such as Nortel, Lucent Technologies, Digital China and HP, gaining extensive experience in both IT and telecom industry.

Mr. Zhu holds a BS in computer engineering from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.

Edmundo Ruiz
Senior Vice President, Head of European Business

Mr. Edmundo Ruiz is a Senior Vice President, and the Head of European Business of iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd.

Mr. Edmundo Ruiz has over 20 years of experience providing, managing and optimizing IT Services and Business Processes in large corporations such as SIEMENS, CEMEX and AVAYA. Additionally, he has been a successful (corporate) entrepreneur developing new businesses within established legacy organizations.

At AVAYA, Mr. Ruiz was the Vice President of Operations and IT for the International Region that included Asia, Latin America and Europe and had the responsibility to integrate a major acquisition in Germany including assuring its SOX compliance.

While working at SIEMENS he held positions of increasing responsibility, from Head of Business Development for IT and Business Process Outsourcing, to establishing and managing the Advanced Services and Media unit in the USA, to the dual role of Global CIO and VP eBusiness for SIEMENS Mobile and finally becoming Global Head of IT Infrastructure for SIEMENS while being the company’s Regional CIO for Europe, Middle East and Africa. During his time at SIEMENS, the corporate initiatives led by Mr. Ruiz generated hundreds of millions of Euros in EBIT improvement for the company.

Before joining SIEMENS, Mr. Ruiz had a successful career at CEMEX, a global cement leader, initially joining the company as Head of IT in the US and later progressing to the role of Director of Strategic Planning in Latin America.

Mr. Ruiz is a Sloan Fellow and holds an MBA degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering degree from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico.

Lincoln Popp

Mr. Lincoln Popp is a Senior Vice President of iSoftStone Inc. (USA)

Mr. Popp has more than 12 years of global IT and business consulting experience across many vertical industries in the U.S. and Europe.  In 2004, Mr. Popp co-founded Akona Consulting, a US-based business and technology consulting company that merged with iSoftStone in February 2008.  Prior to Akona, Mr. Popp worked at Microsoft Corporation for six years in a number of IT and operations roles where he was responsible for building line-of-business solutions across Microsoft's internal finance and human resources processes. 

Mr. Popp holds a BA in Information Systems from the University of Washington.

Anders Brown

Mr. Anders Brown is a Senior Vice President of iSoftStone Inc. (USA)

Mr. Brown has more than 14 years of business management, strategy, technology, and operations experience across many vertical industries, including high-technology, digital media, consumer packaged goods, and retail.  In 2004, Mr. Brown co-founded Akona Consulting, a US-based business and technology consulting company that merged with iSoftStone in February 2008.  Prior to co-founding Akona, Mr. Brown worked at Microsoft Corporation in a number of senior management roles across product management, business strategy, and planning.

Mr. Brown holds a MS in Systems Engineering and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
