Case Study：The Integration of logistics, Fund Flow, Information Flow for Shengli Oilfield

Project Background

As the second largest oil producing field in China, Shengli Oilfield is an important petroleum industry base on the east of China. Over 40 years of oilfield construction and development, 74 oil and gas fields have been developed. Its yearly production of crude oil can reach a maximum of 33.5519 million tons. It produced 0.88 billion tons of crude oil and 39.816 billion cubic meters of natural gas in total leading up to 2006.

Shengli Oilfield Company developed its logistical management information system and financial management information system earlier than other companies in the China Petrochemical Corporation. Therefore, its development and application of information system is much more inclined to its internal system, but lack of the interaction with other companies making procurement more challenging. There is no synchronization update of its logistics, fund flow and information flow, and no information share for its isolated information island with other systems.

iSoftStone provided a suite of ITO services to Shengli Oilfield Company as well as several other companies of the China Petrochemical Corporation. All of those companies standardized their core business process, optimized their operation model through the implementation and operation of our simple, clear and effective project.

We did supervision to the price, quality, supplier, contract in management platform. Our service is helpful to make decisions through analyzing and researching statistics and reports.
