iSoftStone Launches 2010 National Tour Spring Campus Recruitment

From Mar 23rd to Apr 16th, iSoftStone 2010 National Tour Spring Campus Recruitment was held as planned in 40 “211 Schools” in China’s 8 main cities (“Project 211” was initiated by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China aiming to build approximately 100 key universities and colleges). During each recruiting visit, iSoftStone arranged members of senior management to speak to the audience and communicate individually with participants, which helped to fully demonstrate iSoftStone’s commitment to Campus Recruitment. As a result, the recruiting trip received positive participation among prospective students and a high level of interest in prospective positions.

The results of the campus recruitment exceeded expectations. In Wuhan, Dalian and Beijing, many students waited outside the recruitment hosting room due to a greater-than-expected number of participants. The atmosphere was open, relaxed and enthusiastic, and the overall number of people taking the written test was temporarily increased to accommodate the heightened interest. Participants communicated with iSoftStone senior management people about career development questions they were interested in. According to the statistics, iSoftStone received 2,900 resumes in total from Beihang University, Tongji University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other first-class universities. 1,500 candidates were invited for second-round testing and additional interviews.

At present, iSoftStone has a young, well educated and highly qualified talent pool. iSoftStone regards graduates from “211 Schools” as an important talent resource, and several “211 Schools” have expressed intention to work closely with iSoftStone to co-develop its resource base from these schools. With graduates facing heavy hob-hunting pressure, iSoftStone plays the positive role of Corporate Citizenship to provide jobs to graduates, while simultaneously meeting its own need of a continued growing high quality work force.
