iSoftStone New Dunhuang Art Global Promotion Volunteer Project Officially Launched

iSoftStone recently launched a new project to promote awareness of New Dunhuang Art globally and encourage volunteer work for its various programs.

On June 1, 2010, Mr. Jiahuang Chang, also known as the “Son of Dunhuang,” delivered a speech at iSoftStone’s Global Headquarters in Beijing to officially launch iSoftStone’s New Dunhuang Art Global Promotion Volunteer Project. During his speech, entitled, “Inheritance – Dunhuang’s Past, Present and Future,” he discussed the origin and history of Dunhuang, the many artists dedicated to supporting it as a cause and how he and other people are trying to build awareness of New Dunhuang Art to a new level. 

Dunhuang, a city located in Jiuquan in the Gansu province of China, is a historic cultural center that attracts artists all over the world with its amazing art created by ancient artists.

iSoftStone Chairman and CEO, Tianwen Liu, was the first volunteer for this project. Mr. Liu spoke about his experience in remarks following Mr. Jiahuang’s speech.   He noted, “Dunhuang is the great culture and art treasure of China.  Many current artists are dedicated to supporting New Dunhuang Art.  Mr. Shuhong Chang, also known as the “Father of Dunhuang” and Mr. Jiahuang Chang are persistently dedicated to the effort of protecting and promoting New Dunhuang Art.  Their personal stories and experiences are very touching.  iSoftStone hopes to contribute its global power and resources to support New Dunhuang Art internationally.  As more and more iSoftStone employees join the volunteer group, we will help Mr. CHANG Jiahuang to complete the great business of promoting Dunhuang Art to the world.”
