• Database Clustering - iSoftStone couples or "clusters" two or more servers together to provide a backup, failover path should one database fail or malfunction. For maximum flexibility, iSoftStone offers various configurations of active and/or passive servers in a clustered database arrangement and can complement load balancing services as well. iSoftStone can accommodate most database cluster platforms, including: Windows Cluster services using Windows Advanced/Enterprise Server and SQL Server Enterprise Edition, Solaris Cluster services using Veritas Cluster Server software and Oracle.
• Local Load Balancing - iSoftStone offers Local Load Balancing to help improve your online traffic distribution and provide failover protection within one iSoftStone data center. iSoftStone assembles multiple servers with mirrored content and manages the online traffic so no one server becomes overloaded or bogged down to a point of failure. During normal operation, online traffic is distributed to these mirrored services. Should one of them fail for any reason, it is automatically taken out of service and the remaining servers pick up the traffic without skipping a beat. You gain better performance as well as increased levels of availability. As always, iSoftStone can accommodate a variety of custom arrangements including dedicated or shared environments should you have additional or specific load balancing requirements.
• Geographic Load Balancing - iSoftStone offers Geographic Load Balancing which adds another layer of reliability and availability by improving online traffic distribution and increasing failover protection across multiple iSoftStone data centers. Geographic and Local load balancing can be combined for the maximum in load balancing and high availability services.
