CCTV-4 Gives Kudos to iSoftStone for Digital Service Export
Today, digital trade, as an important part of the digital economy, will greatly change the global trade pattern. China’s digital economy is entering a new stage of rapid development. The knowledge-intensive service trade has been significantly enhanced and new advantages in service export cultivated. The 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services will be held in China National Convention Center on September 4-9.
Knowledge-intensive service industry represented by computer, information service and consulting service has become a new impetus for China’s high-quality foreign trade development. A reporter visited iSoftStone in CCTV-4’s China News on September 1.
John Peng, Executive Vice President and CDO of iSoftStone said, “Now, iSoftStone sees fast overseas development in AI-related data business, which benefits from the development of Chinese enterprises overseas and China’s rich experience in the development of mobile internet as well.”
Last year, Prudential PLC, the largest insurance company of UK, launched its new digital health application program overseas. iSoftStone has not only participated in the software design and development of the application, but provided technical support for Prudential’s digital applications launched in China.
Mr. Peng also said, “China is the leader in the application programs of the digital field. Foreign companies work with Chinese companies because of China’s capability in digital technology.”
Currently, in terms of knowledge-intensive service export, the accelerated transformation and innovative integration of digital service with traditional industries have become a highlight of China’s emerging service. According to the data from the Ministry of Commerce, affected by COVID-19 and other factors, China’s trade in services declined from January to July. However, the service output outperformed the import, trade deficit narrowed and knowledge-intensive service trade embraced an increased proportion, providing new support for China’s stable economic forecast.
By virtue of rich industrial experience and leading technical strength, iSoftStone, a senior service provider in the software and IT service field, has built itself into a new player of digital service export. At present, the Company has more than 100 branches and 29 delivery centers in 43 cities around the world.
On the occasion of digital transformation, iSoftStone is providing services for more than 1,000 domestic and foreign clients in about 10 important industries, including 200 Global 500 enterprises or top 500 enterprises of China. In the future, iSoftStone will continuously improve its full-stack digital service capability and create more value for clients.
